When it comes to Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, engineering and safety have to lead every decision. For a recent project in Alamo, Nevada, Logisticus Group supported the storage of 124 Tesla Megapacks for a lithium-ion BESS facility with one goal in mind: reduce risk before operations even began.

Our engineering, safety, and government relations teams worked alongside local authorities and fire code officials to develop a fully compliant CAD site layout designed to meet international fire code and NFPA requirements specific to lithium-ion storage. From spacing and accessibility to fire risk mitigation, every detail was engineered with precision.

Once the site was approved, our operations team coordinated high-volume deliveries, crane offloads, and exact unit placement while tracking every component through our LTMS system for complete visibility and accountability.

This engineering-first approach helped stabilize a complex, high-risk project in just weeks while maintaining safety, compliance, and schedule integrity.

Big milestones in the energy sector! ⚡

Our Engineering team recently completed a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) access road engineering and construction project in Kay County, Oklahoma. This project included the design and construction of both perimeter and internal roads for the site.

One of the most impressive aspects of the project was developing a grading plan for a site with complex terrain and significant elevation changes while minimizing cut and fill and creating efficient connections to county roads.

From engineering through ex*****on, the team focused on delivering a practical, forward-thinking solution that supported critical construction timelines while also preparing the site for future operations.

This project highlights our ability to design and construct BESS infrastructure in challenging terrain while helping reduce project risk through strategic planning and ex*****on.

One of the most meaningful moments from this year’s Logisticus Charity Golf Classic was hearing from Emma at Safe Harbor.

The organization serves survivors of domestic violence in Greenville, Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. Thanks to the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, and supporters, this year’s event is helping fund Safe Harbor’s new Greenville shelter, which will increase capacity from 21 beds to 65 beds.

From New Mexico to Oregon, our team recently completed a complex energy-sector project involving the disassembly, lifting, transportation, and delivery of critical electrical substation equipment. The project included:

-2 inverter container modules
-6 pad mount transformers
-Switchgear
-Miscellaneous components

Logisticus Group mobilized crews to Santa Rosa, New Mexico, where cranes were used to release the equipment from pad mounts and safely load it onto trucks for transport to Hermiston, Oregon. Throughout the project, our team provided nightly updates through our custom Logisticus Transport Management System (LTMS), with GPS tracking ensuring full visibility every step of the way.

This successful project further expands our footprint in the energy sector and highlights the power of detailed planning, seamless coordination, and strong communication.
