We want to thank everyone that registered for the Take Flight 5k and 1 mile race. It was a wet start but the race turned out well. The community support every year is amazing. We raised enough money to order new playground equipment for Runway Park. Our next goal is additional swings!

The 13th Annual Take Flight 5k and 1 mile fundraiser was a rain or shine event. The weather was unpredictable but it stopped just long enough to run our races. Greenville Journal did a great job telling our story.

Training Exercise on Tuesday on May 26 and Wednesday, May 27 from approximately 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. each day.

Greenville County Emergency Management and partner agencies will be conducting a multi-agency emergency preparedness exercise in the area of S. Pleasantburg Dr and Tower Dr. Residents may notice an increased presence of emergency personnel and response vehicles between approximately 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM each day.

This is only a training exercise. There is no threat to public safety.
Thank you for your support as agencies train together to strengthen emergency preparedness in our community.

This will cause a disruption for airport traffic going to the terminal building. Tower Drive will not be accessible to inbound or outbound traffic except through access points 3 and 4. Please see the map.

The secret is out and Trish Balentine, owner of Hangar 28 Kitchen and Events is opening mid-June! The Community Corridor is the place for everyone to experience aviation up close. We can't wait for the new additions to be complete.

Final construction is underway. Managers are in the process of hiring dedicated team members. Those interested may apply at [email protected]

Early packet pick up is on Thursday and Friday 4 PM to 7 PM next to Takeoff Mini Golf. Go ahead and pick up your package now! It will rain on those days, but that’s a good thing. Saturday morning is not working bad. Late registration and packet pick up on Saturday. We start at 6 30 a.m.
