The owners of this boat, Adam and Ryan, came to me with a goal. They wanted to add a Halo 20+ radar and an RS40 VHF radio to their 2102 Legacy. Given that this boat is equipped with a canvas T-Top, mounting our mount provided its own challenge. At the end of the day, this custom 1" King Starboard mounting plate, made in-house, not only looks slick but is rugged, too.
I'm thrilled with how this came together, and can't wait for the seatrial with the owners to not only further test my install, but leave them with the confidence that I not only stand by my work on the trailer, but, on the water too.

SAFE and LEGAL Boating is on our mind this spring.
Check out Fell Marine's MOB+ electronic man overboard system. Learn more at the attached link.

"On April 1, 2021 a new federal law goes into effect that requires the operator of a boat with an installed Engine Cut-Off Switch (ECOS) to use the ECOS link. The link is usually a coiled bungee cord lanyard clipped onto the operator's person, Personal Floatation Device (PFD) or clothing and the other end attached to the cut-off switch, but there are plenty of variations on the market, including electronic wireless devices. The law applies on all "Navigable Waters of the US"."
-USCG
"The law applies to "Covered Recreational vessels" which means any motorized boat with 3 or more horsepower that is less than 26 feet in length and takes effect on April 1, 2021.
Operator Requirement: An individual operating a covered recreational vessel shall use an engine cut-off switch link while operating on plane or above displacement speed."

The "off-season" is a great time to consider upgrading your electronics. Whether its a new install, ungrading outdated or adding to your system, we're happy to accommodate. Here's a Garmin GMR 18 Fantom Radar with a Seaview mount installed on a 2021 Grady-White Boats Fisherman 236. This work was done on site where the customer stores his boat, without the need for trailering to a shop.
