One of the best parts about running GiantHead Moving is the people we meet along the way.

We met Morris after he hired us to set up his display at the Enterprise Event Center. While we were there, I learned about his handmade jewelry business and decided to put together this video to help support another local entrepreneur.

We thought we were showing up for a move… but we ended up stepping back in time. 🏡

This family’s home dates back to the 1930s, and hearing the stories behind the old wood stove, butter molds, corn grinder, wash bins, and the attic where six siblings grew up was something we’ll never forget.

Every move is more than furniture. Every home has a story, and we’re grateful to be a small part of preserving those memories.

A while back, we had the opportunity to help the Blackwell family with their move. Fast forward to today, and Bonnie surprised us with these custom GiantHead Moving shirts.

One of the things I love most about building this business is the relationships that come from it. It’s more than moving furniture—it’s meeting great people, supporting other local businesses, and watching those connections come full circle.

“Sorry, we’re gonna be late. We ran out of gas.”

Nah.

We crossed 2 lanes of highway traffic, hopped a fence, crab-walked down a steep embankment, ran nearly a mile to a gas station, bought a gas can, filled it up, and made the trip back the exact same way.

All because being late wasn’t an option.

Owning a business is wild sometimes. 😂

Customer never knew how close we were to showing up on fumes.
