We’re back … thanks for waiting…⛵️
I want to begin by expressing my GRATITUDE for everyone who has followed our Wavelength journey, been a colleague, a friend, and family. THANK YOU! Your presence in our lives means so much to Michele and me.
Also, a special acknowledgement of gratitude to EVERYONE who have, and continue to, reach out, support and connect with Michele and I during my struggles with PTSD including anxiety and depression. To state up front, trauma and PTSD, like a cancer, isn’t biased. It can happen to anyone, at anytime, even when you think you’re “good” as I did, it can bubble up from your depths sometimes without warning. I was wrong to think i was “good”, and in the process pulled Michele and Tristan through some trauma of their own because of my history. I never wished to perpetuate my trauma forward to my wife or Tristan as generational trauma…as I would think you wouldn’t either, and I needed help well beyond what I was receiving via traditional VA medications and services.
I left for Mexico in late January for a two week Ibogaine, 5MEO/DMT, and Iboga treatment that was truly profound in addressing my past trauma. Ibogaine is essentially the autobahn of psychedelic treatments, said to improve plasticity in neurological pathways between segments of the brain that have been hardwired shut. There is a lot more to it than that beyond the scope of this post, but you can ask AI, Google, or DM me and we can discuss in even greater detail. It is not approved/legal in the United States, therefore I traveled to Mexico for the treatment where it is “unregulated.” I’ll post more soon. There is still more work to do.
The bottom line is I’m back on the boat with Michele, back with goals, a new sense of purpose, and a path forward including potentially more micro-dosing of psychedelics with an outpatient clinic in Atlanta. To support this, we’re diverting to Fajardo, Puerto Rico, and hauling the boat out at the end of this week for 8 months to do some maintenance and repairs on it and ourselves and wait out the upcoming hurricane season. This is a positive thing for us and we are very excited to get after some items that we know we need to upgrade/repair on the boat after being underway the last 12 months.
Thank you again to everyone for all of the support!! We’ll continue to post and update as we move forward, includng my recovery journey, boat maintenance, and Puerto Rico.
If you’re struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, or addiction OR know someone who does, and current treatments aren’t working, then explore Ibogaine, other potential non-traditional treatments and/or reach out to me and I’ll do my best to tell you what I know and the resources to learn more.
Much love, Bill, Michele & Rio ❤️ 🐾
