A few things we’ve been up up the last week

We often post pictures of our Rotators doing cool jobs, but we have many other trucks that do the majority of our calls behind the scenes. We would like to introduce Unit 63, which is a 2024 Western Star 49x. This truck replaces Unit 38 that we had for the last 6 years. This new truck also has an automatic transmission which makes it much nicer and more comfortable for our drivers to drive. This also brings the number of Automatic CDL trucks we have up to 6 now. This truck will be a great addition to the fleet for many years to come!

We are still looking for Non-CDL drivers. These are the actual trucks you will drive. Our oldest Non-CDL truck is a 2022. You will be driving late model trucks. Paid training and no experience necessary!

Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm (One night on call per week, and one weekend every 6 weeks on call, taking the truck home with you) overtime always available.

A really big job our company handled this week. We were called for a loaded tractor trailer carrying 8000 gallons of ethanol laying on its side. It just filled up a mile back at the ethanol plant. We were contacted by the Oshkosh Fire / Hazmat Team. It was a great team effort between Oshkosh fire and us working together. Our company hot tapped all 4 holes, one in each compartment. We unloaded all 8100 gallons (4 compartments 2100, 1500, 1400, 3100) without spilling a drop. We calculated it out to 41 Gallons / Min while pumping off into a new trailer. Once unloaded it was a super quick upright and pulled it out of the ditch with our 50 Ton Rotator. This job will help us be even more prepared for the next one. Thank you again to Oshkosh Fire / Hazmat team for their trust in our company to handle a job of this size, and all of their assistance throughout the whole process.

We are looking to add CDL Drivers local to the Green Bay Area. We do more than just towing. Everyday is something new.

-2pm to 10pm CDL Tow Truck Drivers (these hours can be slightly flexible) starting at $28 per hour for this shift. (Night Shift Premium) Will go up with experience.

Can also have an automatic only restriction as we have many new automatic tow trucks.

Wage is dependent on experience, and is negotiable. Mechanic experience, will receive a bonus. And will go up with experience, extra hours always available. Overtime always available.

Another 40 trucks and trailers from Neenah to Oak Creek this week. We pulled the very last piece of equipment out of the neenah facility friday night. And a railroad crane that has been sittting for 20 years we hauled to scrap. And some training with Green Bay Fire.

Some things we never posted over the last few weeks. We had a rolled over semi with 38,000 lbs of chep pallets laying in a muddy farm field and in a ditch with 2' of water in it. We used our air cushions and both rotators to stand it up. We also had a broken in half storage trailer loaded with 60,000lbs of batteries and a forklift inside. We were able to get it picked up and unloaded, and they only had 5 damaged batteries out of all of that product. and then some other random jobs we have done.

We were contacted last week to move 56 trucks and trailers (40 of them trailers) from Neenah, WI to Oak Creek, WI. But we couldnt start until this week Monday, and had to be done by this Friday. Our team really stepped up moving all that equipment with hundreds of miles and trips in 5 days. As well as the other guys in town that handled all the other calls in a timely matter. We are ready to tackle any job no matter how big or small!

Some things from the last week. We moved 17 Semi Tractors, Trailers, and other equipment from Michigan Wednesday through Friday. As well as a few other things. Cant thank our employees enough to get whatever call comes in handled!

This is a pretty cool job we handled yesterday with Darrell Henninger John Forrest, and Cody Henninger. We had 2 press brakes, the grey one weighing 44,000 lbs, and the green one weighing 50,000lbs. With the beams for the over head crane and limited clearance, we lifted them and drove them forward about 125'. We then backed our lowboy in and set them on. We transported both them about 7 miles to a new facility. At the new facility, we utilized the over head crane on one side, and our rotator on the other to spin them around and place them. Our new 50 Ton Custom Built Rotator did amazing, doing 44,000lbs and 50,000lbs off the back corner. Also a big thank you to the shop themselves for all the help , and the extra people they had helping as well to make everything go so smoothly!

Few jobs this week. A pair of 110,000lb cat loaders we helped lift to remove tires for transport. Emptying damaged product from a rolled over semi and bringing it to the dump. And an ambulance to the Madison area.

Rolled over tractor trailer we stood up last Saturday after the snow storm. This was loaded with 42,000 lbs of cans of beer inside. We picked this up fully loaded and, never opened the back doors or broke the seal. This 2024 Kenworth didn't even break the mirror when it went over in the 3/4 feet of snow drifts in the ditch.

Coach bus we winched out the other day. It was buried in 17” of snow. Pulled it out damage free, even after sitting a whole night and being frozen in the next day.

75 Ton crane we towed a couple days ago. This had a broken front axle. With all the counter weights it had on it, it weighed 105,000lbs total weight. We towed this 130 miles from Oak Creek south of Milwaukee, to Appleton.

Moving a tri-axle walking floor trailer with significant frame and suspension damage. Went 25 miles with it, with our low profile trailer dolly.

Rotator Pickup Lift

Lifting a pickup out of a tough spot today with the rotator.

We were able to get a video of a recovery today that didn’t show the name on the truck so we are able to post it. Used our Rotator and 35ton wrecker.

Moving a shed for a customer today. Used our skid steer, landoll, and our skid for moving sheds.

Darrell getting a few hours to spend in the shop today working on sidepuller #3. By building and designing a lot of our own equipment we get a much better product to get us off the road faster, do more jobs with the same truck, and get calls done safer.

Pick, Slide, & Rotate. Pick and swing a fully loaded semi trailer out of the ditch with our rotator.

Setting up a demo for local fire departments to train. Fully loaded concrete truck, 71,780lbs. Drum is also chained to the frame since we will be lifting and setting it down a few times. Huge thanks to one of our local customers for letting us use a truck they have had sitting around which will allow us to train with real weight for real world accidents.

4-11-17 Rollover

Here is a video from the rollover we did yesterday. We used our 50 Ton Rotator on the rear and our 50 Ton Wrecker on the front. Went really smooth, the video is sped up a little bit to make it a little shorter about 4:45 min originally. Cant thank our crew enough for not only handling the few recoveries over the last few days but also keeping our regular towing customers taken care of with short ETA's and not forgetting about them during our busy times.

Remember to move over and slow down when you see flashing lights. Here at Glenn's we want to make sure you can see us, which keeps our operators safer, and also possibly you if it's your car we are picking up.

Tanker Rollover we worked tonight. About 5 Seconds were taken out of middle so the company involved wasn't shown. our strap around tank fought us a little bit because of the wet heavy snow, but after that was situated it was a piece of cake. Our 50 Ton Rotator, and our 16 Ton Medium duty handled this call.
