NOTICE OF INFORMATIONAL MEETING ON THE NEW CONTACTLESS FARE COLLECTION SYSTEM.

All interested persons are advised of public informational meetings on the new contactless fare collection system at Green Bay Metro to be implemented in the fall of 2026.

Further information regarding the new contactless fare collection system can be obtained at 901 University Avenue, visiting the Green Bay Metro website at: www.greenbaymetro.org or by calling 448-3450.

Public information meetings will be held at Green Bay Metro, 901 University Avenue, on the following dates:

Monday, August 31, 2026
At 4:15 p.m.
Transit Commission Room

Tuesday, September 1, 2026
At 3:45 p.m.
Transit Commission Room

Route 4 Blue Line UPDATE
Detour due to Dousman St Road Work
Effective: Wednesday, 9/9/2026 thru Wednesday, 9/16/2026

***ASPIRO Dousman passengers can board near the intersection of
Murphy & Dousman***
Detour Path Route 4 Outbound
- At Dousman St and Stevens St, turn left (northbound)
- At Stevens St and Westfield Ave, turn right (eastbound)
- At Westfield Ave and Murphy Dr, turn right (southbound)
- At Murphy Dr and Dousman St, turn left (eastbound) back on route

BUS DELAYS!

We are currently experiencing a boat and a train downtown. With extra traffic for the game, we are a little delayed. Drivers are doing their best.

It's GAME DAY! There is nothing better then a gorgeous day and football in Green Bay.

Have a fabulous day, be safe and enjoy..... HOWEVER, please leave the driving to Green Bay Metro.

Game Day buses begin at 3pm and operate till 11:30pm. Schedule information is below or call 920-448-3450 and we'd be happy to help.

NEW THIS YEAR:

ALL Green Bay Area Public School, Ashwaubenon, and Notre Dame MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOL Students must have a 2026-2027 school ID or verification (school letterhead) to board the bus for free.

We will be enforcing that ALL MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOL students must have their proper ID or verification by Monday, September 14th.

Great turn out for Green Bay Metro’s first public information meeting regarding the new contactless fare system.

Riders are excited for new seamless options between fixed route and GBM On Demand and added account security.
