Temporary Service Reduction:

Unfortunately, Green Bay Metro continues to struggle with hiring qualified Bus Drivers. Our current drivers have been consistently working nearly 60 hours per week. We understand the importance of public transit to the community. However, safety is our number one priority. We have a great team of drivers, and it is critical for each and every one of them to be on their best each time they get behind the wheel.

Due to the ongoing staffing shortage, Route 6 Red Line and Route 7 Lime Line will have hourly service, departing at :45. This change is temporary. Our goal is to reinstate this service as soon as possible.

Schedule change effective:
Route 6: Saturday, May 23, 2026 until further notice.
Route 7: Tuesday, May 26, 2026, until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

NOTICE OF 30 DAY PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT PERIOD AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION POLICY FOR THE GREEN BAY METRO SYSTEM

All interested persons are advised of a 30-day public review and comment period and are invited to a public hearing on the Draft Public Participation Policy for the Green Bay Metro System.

A copy of the draft document can be found on the Green Bay Metro website at GreenBayMetro.org. (https://www.greenbaywi.gov/373/Policies). Further information regarding the draft can be obtained by calling Patty Kiewiz, Green Bay Metro Director at 448-3450.

The 30-day public review and comment period for the draft is scheduled for April 17, 2026, through May 18, 2026.

Public Hearing will be held on:
