I have known about St. Paul all my life. He was in stories I learned at church and later I knew him as the author of books in the Bible. After my pilgrimage, I feel I know more and want to learn more.

I walked on the same ground he walked on when spreading the Gospel. I stood in from of the Bema he was taken to in ancient Corinth for persecution. I saw the probably cell where he was imprisoned in Philippi.

When I was there, I wanted to read St. Paul's writings again and visualize where he was and who he was writing too.

I enjoyed that experience so much, I am going to do the reading, and go back with even more background knowledge to put with the locations.

I converted to Orthodoxy a few years ago. It was eye opening and comforting. I love the incense and icons. The smell and feel of home. Just like I have pictures of family, I have icons of saints. They are my family too now. I talk to them often.

On my recent trip to Greece and Turkey, I was able to se the ancient churches and realize that I am not alone in my faith, and never have been.

I loved that experience. Now I am going back and want to share that with others. Join me on my next trip in August of 2027.

Sometimes it is hard to remember to drink enough water when you are traveling.

Start drinking water when your get to the airport. The low humidity in an ariplane cabin deyhydrates you.

I traveled to Greece, a tropical climate. But the food and specialty drinks distracted me from drinking water.

Carry water with you. Tour busses sometimes carry water for the travelers. Hotels my give you a free bottle in your room, but probably only for the first day.

Take care of yourself when you travel. If you work with me on planning your next journey, I will be sure to provide you with important tips to remember before, during, and after your trip.

Footsteps of Apostle Paul tour.

A partial eclipse of the sun will be visible in Greece. The tour will be at Metéora on that day. 🌄

The start of the eclipse is 11:17 am, max at 12:32 am, ends at 1:49 pm.

This will be a spectacular opportunity! To see a solar eclipse while at the cliffs of Metéora!
