We were gifted this piece of marathon history from our friends Carlisle Canoe Livery. Not sure when this gem was last used in the AuSable River Canoe Marathon, there are some legendary paddling names that have signed this paddle.

Another great weekend at Penrod's, we hosted a bachelorette party on the AuSable River. The ladies had a great time sending off their bride before her big day. The groom made an appearance, only in cardboard form.

Another great day at Penrod's! Welcome Northern Strike to Grayling! We are fortunate enough to live right in the flight line of the Grayling Army Airfield and get to the see the aircraft flying overhead daily.

Penrod's and Borchers teamed up to host the Grayling Viking Football teams for a team bonding trip down the river. Afterward the boys enjoyed a lunch provided by the Grayling Football Spirit Club. Kickoff for the football season is three weeks from today, GO VIKES!
