Thank you to the Laurel County Cooperative Extension Family & Consumer Sciences for hosting this event! We had so much fun!
Our helpers today used their color and shape matching skills to feed our hungry dinosaur! The ability to match and sort shapes is foundational to cognitive development, boosting their early literacy and math skills. Older helpers were challenged to match the shapes with their eyes closed utilizing their sense of touch.
