Aging! It happens every day! Some endure, some are not so fortunate! We've been fortunate, but I wish the constant reminders were less painful. Friends passing, joints and muscles aching, memory recall frustrating and running out of beer among them.

Working in my barn is both a blessing and a curse. Yesterday the mower deck on lawn tractor broke and was tearing up the lawn and the sidewalk as I went. So today I got the tools and hardware out to effect a repair. It took some time to figure the correct aproach. As always, I use the method that uses the most strength. Having lost some of that, I needed to defer to using my brain! Crap, I hate when that happens. But in the end it was fixed, so I guess I haven't lost it all together. Heres a few pics of the crime scene!

I was searching for words to describe the prediciment we find ourselves in todays society and happend upon this definition which describes it to a "tee".

Moral enslavement, or slave morality, is a philosophical concept introduced by Friedrich Nietzsche. It describes a value system created by the weak and oppressed as a reaction to the power of the strong. Instead of valuing strength and pride, this system turns weakness and submission into virtues to make powerlessness feel safe.

And there you have it. Drama and Mental Illness as a reaction to strength and education. The dilemma is what to do about it!
