Wraith Hill 164 is now powered, has handrails (not shown) and a cab. The extra shell will become another 164 for the 1970s "yellow" era. The one shown below will be in the orange era introduced in 1977 with the arrival of the new MP15DC 155.

The Hill's shops are busy again. This time with scratch building the lead cab car for a w**d sprayer (track cleaner). This what's been done after two nights.

This shell here some day will become Wraith Hill & Southern Cross 164. A rebuilt Fairbanks Morse H12-46 done by Montreal Locomotive Works, which rebuilt it to H16-64 (WHSC specs).
I got this idea from the Wabash and their eight Train Masters that they sent to ALCo back in early 1964 to be rebuilt. Two of those eight were FM demonstrators.

Here is the beginning of Wraith Hills other snowplow (MS02) and tender to haul pesticides for w**d control. I ordered a 11 k tank that will be added soon.

Snowplow MS01

This is the latest on the Wraith Hill, a shop built plow. One of my first scratch builds. I'll use Micro Trains 3 axle Buckeye trucks, then paint it up in a primer-maroon color
Here is the history,
Built from a retired Northern Pacific tender from 2602. Purchased the tender in June of 1959 and was ready for service in April of 1960.
