Working in Metro St Louis area, our scope of work includes commercial site development, private subdivision roads, municipal road construction and DOT federally funded road construction.

Granite City, IL Trucking Company is looking to hire a new semi driver. Must have a class A CDL with air brakes, experience driving 48 foot flatbed and dump truck. We expect our drivers to be on time at the job and keep the trucks clean. Some overnights required but happens rarely. Home all weekends.

*Pay starting at 29.30/hour

Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip

QUALIFICATIONS

• Two (2) years Flatbed experience required
• Class A CDL only need apply
• Live within 30 miles of a terminal
• Clean Driving record
• Must have or be willing to get a union card.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and have/get a DOT Physical card.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
