In the last 3 months since we’ve opened our doors, I’ve had to teach myself a LOT of new skills in a very short period of time. I created our website, I’m learning marketing and branding, bookkeeping, patience…. I’ve learned more about guitars, amps and other things in the last 3 months than I have in even the last year. 👏 MY 👏 BRAIN 👏 IS 👏 EXHAUSTED!!!!!

Running a small business is exhausting. It’s 10hr + days / 7 days / week and always feeling like you didn’t get enough done, because, well, you didn’t. But it’s also incredibly rewarding watching ppl come into the store for the first time and being excited and bringing their friends back because they just had to show them. It’s the regulars that we’ve already acquired who come in just to play and chat with Paul. It’s the sound of people playing in the back room and coming out gushing about how cool it all is. It’s all very hard and very rewarding all at the same time.

Someone came into the store today & sat on THE chair just to soak in the vibe. She said she was just walking by and the store felt very grounding and she needed to come in. I know that may sound strange, but THAT’S what we’re all about. We want Tone Chasers Music to be a welcoming place for people to come and feel good about picking up an instrument. We want you to feel the vibe. And that vibe isn’t just derived from the beautiful guitars and paintings that line the walls, it comes from the hard work and commitment that goes into everyday. It comes from the love and imagination that keeps pushing us forward. It’s everything that makes Tones Chasers, Tone Chasers. This place means everything to us, and we want it to mean something to everyone else.
