With our new terminal expansion opening to passengers on September 9, those flying with American Airlines, Frontier Airlines and United will be the first to experience our updated check-in process. We’re excited to introduce this state-of-the-art technology, including new kiosks and self-bag drop units.

Airline and Ford Airport staff will be available throughout the process to assist travelers and answer questions. We encourage you to watch this step-by-step instructional video to know what to expect before your next trip!

Today, we welcomed Paws With A Cause as their dogs-in-training explored the terminal, practiced commands, experienced new surroundings, and even boarded an aircraft. We LOVED having them here!

During their visit, we discussed investments in air traffic control modernization and airport infrastructure, toured our new terminal expansion, and talked about ways these investments will help elevate the experience for travelers. We’re grateful for their support and the opportunity to showcase the progress at GRR.
