Today, we remember.
Memorial Day is not just a long weekend. It is not just the unofficial start of summer. At its core, Memorial Day exists to honor the brave men and women who died while serving in the United States military.
Behind every folded flag is a name.
Behind every name is a family.
Behind every family is a story that changed forever.
Across the country, Americans honor the fallen by placing flags and flowers on graves, visiting memorials and national cemeteries, and taking part in the National Moment of Remembrance at 3:00 PM local time.
As a veteran-owned company, this day means something personal to us. We understand that freedom is not just a word. It is protected by people who raised their right hand, served something greater than themselves, and in too many cases, never came home.
Their courage gave us the freedom to build businesses, raise families, gather with the people we love, and live each day with opportunities that were purchased at the highest cost.
So today, before the cookouts, before the lake days, before the sales and the noise — we pause.
We remember the sons and daughters.
The mothers and fathers.
The brothers, sisters, friends, and battle buddies.
The ones who stood for us and never came home.
But our gratitude does not end tonight.
