🙌🏼💕🙏🏼 **PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THIS — MY FRIEND NEEDS US.** 🙏🏼💕🙌🏼
This one hit **way too close to home** for me.
Those who truly know me know that I rarely ask anyone for anything, unless it is something incredibly important and something that has been laid heavily on my heart. Today, I’m swallowing my pride and asking you to please consider helping someone who means a whole lot to me.
**Justice Fregia — my very first lease-on, my JDAWG, my breh, my buddy, my friend.**
I’ve had the privilege of meeting some absolutely incredible people throughout my time in this industry, and many of them have become lifelong friends. But JDAWG will always hold a special place in my heart because he was my very first.
He was there for me during one of the darkest and most difficult chapters of my life. When I was going through the nightmare of an abusive relationship, he walked beside me. He showed up. He helped me. He was the kind of friend who never needed to be asked twice.
And that’s just who Justice is.
He is one of those rare people who would literally give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He has one of the purest, most selfless hearts I've ever encountered.
Back in the day his truck went down, I was able to help connect him with a piloting job working for a UACL owner-operator just a few days later. Since then, he has given that fleet owner EVERYTHING he has — working as a mechanic, helping on the ranch, doing whatever needed to be done to work hard, provide for his family, and keep moving forward.
When I say this man is a good human being, I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
And now, Justice, my JDAWG, needs us.
He was working without health insurance or workers' compensation through the fleet owner, leaving him and his family without the safety net so many of us blindly assume will be there when something goes wrong.
And that's the part that scares me the most.
**Because this could happen to ANY ONE OF US.**
We spend our lives on the road. We work long hours. We take risks every single day just trying to make a living and take care of the people we love. We all believe, *“It won't happen to me.”*
But what if it does?
I know that feeling personally. Back in November, I nearly hit a cow and was incredibly fortunate to walk away okay. It took multiple chiropractic and massage sessions to get me back to feeling like myself — and I am beyond grateful that my story had a good ending. But it could have been very different.
So I’m asking you to stop for just a moment and put yourself in Justice's shoes.
**What would you do?**
more importantly- what would your family do?
What if tomorrow you suddenly couldn't work, couldn't provide, and had a long road of recovery ahead of you?
Justice has an extremely long road ahead of him— including rehabilitation and recovery before he can hopefully get back to the person he was before this happened.
If you are able, **PLEASE consider donating — no amount is too small.** Even $5, $10, or $20 can add up when a community comes together. Every dollar can help take a little bit of the financial pressure off Justice and his family while they focus on what matters most: **healing and getting him back home.**
And if you aren't financially able to donate, **PLEASE don't think that means you can't help.**
Share this post. Tag someone who may be able to help. Say a prayer. Send positive thoughts. Keep Justice and his family in your heart. And please consider putting a fail proof system in place for yourself if tragedy were to strike.🥺🙏🏼
To all my **prayer warriors**, I'm asking you to please put Justice and his family on your prayer list. 🙏🩷
This is going to be a long road, but **he shouldn't have to walk it alone.**
My JDAWG has spent so much of his life showing up for other people.
**Now it's our turn to show up for him.** 🙏🏼💕🙌🏼
If you can help, please do. If you can share, please share. If you can pray, **PLEASE pray.**
From the bottom of my heart, **thank you.** 💕🙌🏼
