Aviation Explorers Post 1060 Aviation Explorers is a group devoted to getting high school students age 14-20 interested in aviation and developing soft skills and career readiness.

Our goal is to get high school students interested in all aspects of aviation including flying, maintenance, air traffic control, dispatching, and much more! Exploring is a branch of the Boy Scouts of America and is focused on getting students career ready by giving them opportunities to build their soft skills along with hard skills that they can pursue after high school. Through this post studen

ts will learn soft skills such as punctuality, professional development including communication, character, and appearance. Team work and leadership are important attributes that will be enhanced and evaluated. We want more students to know what aviation is and that the sky is NOT the limit to what someone can do or where they can go.
