Service recommendation: IMPELLER change is recommended every other year. The below picture shows you why this service is so important. If your impeller fails your water pump cannot pull in water, and your engine will over heat! Catch it before an even more costly service will be needed.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marine Mechanic to join our team at JPR Marine, as a Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of marine engines and vessels to ensure the safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:
-Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair marine engines, electrical systems, and other vessel components.
-Perform routine maintenance on boats, including oil changes, repairs to cooling systems, and engine tune-ups.
-Work with team members to conduct preventive maintenance and ensure vessels are compliant with safety and operational standards.
-Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site repairs when necessary.
-Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent.
-Assist with customer inquiries and provide guidance on proper boat and engine care

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic, with knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, fiberglass, and mechanical components.
-Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
