Harbor Transit is looking for two people to serve on its ten-member Local Advisory Council 🚍

Council members give advice and make recommendations to the Harbor Transit Board of Directors about the needs and concerns of riders. They also help promote and improve public transportation in the Harbor Transit service area. Council members must be able to attend quarterly meetings and serve on committees when needed.

To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old, live in the Harbor Transit service area, and have an interest in public transportation and helping riders.

The two open positions are for residents who represent the City of Grand Haven and Grand Haven Charter Township.

Lakeshore Trolley Update ‼️ Stop #6 on the Buccaneer Loop (Tri-Cities Historical Museum) is blocked off through August 16, 2026 due to the sidewalk sale this weekend. Grand Haven Jeep Fest is this weekend 🛞 On August 14th and 15th from 10am-5pm, use the FREE park-and-ride shuttle to enjoy the festivities! Park at Harbor Island (off of Coho Drive in Grand Haven), catch the shuttle, and enjoy a short ride to the drop-off point at Columbus Ave and 3rd Street in downtown Grand Haven.
