Some fisherman came upon us on our bear watch. I don’t know why but this made me laugh. This boat seemed so tiny for all these guys!!!
We went on a bear watch. It was awesome!!! We went with ABAK wilderness tours and they were fabulous! You leave from Juneau Airport for a 25 might flight to a neat little waterfall on a river where the bears do their fishing.

On our way to visit Glacier Bay National Park we took a 25 minute seaplane and saw some of the most amazing Alaska views. This was a treat all on its own!

The National Park was fabulous and so were the views getting there.

On our road trip to Alaska we spent two days in early July in Banff National Park. It’s beautiful this time of year. Cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon. If you are heading to the touristy spots you have got to get there soooooo early. But the sights are so worth it.

We were supposed to be doing a week of waterfall exploring in Tennessee for our anniversary this week but instead I’m doing PT following spinal surgery from our plane crash in Alaska 2 months ago. There are a lot things I can’t do or am not allowed to do yet. It’s frustrating!

This video is Burgess Falls in Tennessee where we went kayaking 2 years ago with Kayaking Adventures of Tennessee. It was FANTASTIC and we were looking forward to doing it again. I can’t recommend them enough.

We were flying from Glacier Bay National Park back to Juneau with Alaska Seaplanes and it was a great clear day so we got great views of Juneau’s famous glacier!!

The Mendenhall Glacier is a 13-mile-long river of ice roughly 12 miles from downtown Juneau, Alaska. The glacier originates from the massive 1,500-square-mile Juneau Icefield and terminates at Mendenhall Lake. It’s stunning!
