Rise and shine Ranch Riders!

A full 75% of our business is transportation to and from the airports. Of that 75%, half of those are regular travelers that pre-schedule their rides with us from 30 to 60 days in advance.
The flights for these business travelers are highly concentrated on Monday morning flights outbound and Friday night returns home. Our days typically start at 3:00am for those jumping on 6:00am east coast flights. Our days end often after midnight, for those on late arriving west coast flights.

Without a doubt, the very best part of our business are the relationships that we enjoy with our travelers!  We know them by name, we know what they do for a living, we know their families and their dogs!

GO FROGS!!

i’ve had the blessing this week of taking about a half dozen families to DFW airport headed to Dublin Ireland for the TCU versus North Carolina football game!

football season is here! If you need rides to the airport to see your team playing another city, or if you need a ride to your college town to watch a home game we are happy to be your game day ride!

Business travelers, road warriors, this is your call!

Several things about this business, have surprised me, but none more surprising than the amount of business travelers that we take care of. In my prior business, most of our work was in DFW metroplex so we did not do any air travel.  I really did not have a strong appreciation for the sheer numbers of people, our neighbors, that fly consistently for business.

It has now become normal for my Ranch Riders to send me a spreadsheet that outlines their flights for the next 30 or 60 days. We put all of those flights into our calendar and one day prior to each of the flights we confirm with our riders. We know them, their homes, even their dogs! 🙂

The unique feature about Ranch Rides is that we focus on people that live outside the 820 loop. Rideshare services struggle to take care of the people that live “out in the country”. Several of my riders have explained to me that they have had challenges with canceled rides, late arrivals due to map challenges, etc., not to mention that it is uncomfortable for our riders to share the gate codes to their properties with a stranger, knowing that they will be gone for an extended period of time.

Ranch Rides offers consistent drivers, consistent vehicles, and most importantly, a consistent process.

Woke up this morning, that’s a blessing!

Each day, each breath is a blessing. I’m so deeply grateful for this life. My prayer today is that everyone feels the overwhelming love of Jesus, and that a grateful heart is a healthy heart!
