Getting around Cape Ann has never been easier. CATA On Demand offers flexible rideshare service throughout Gloucester, Rockport, and Lanesville, right from your phone. Simply enter your pickup and dropoff locations, choose the ride that works best for you, and we’ll handle the rest.

Service runs Monday–Friday from 6:30 AM–8 PM, with rides just $2 each. Some employers may even offer free rides through a special program. Learn more at canntran.com/cataondemand!

EDIT: 2:25pm CATA is back on regular route

🚌🚧🚧🚌 Due to the special event at the Rose Baker Center, CATA will be detouring Manuel F. Lewis Street for a few hours this afternoon.

After the 12pm #2 Business Express leaves Rose Baker, all buses will stop on the Rogers Street side of Rose Baker. There will be no buses on Manuel F. Lewis Street.

The Main Street bus stop will be detoured. All westbound buses, including #2 Business Express, will serve Hancock and Rogers. All eastbound buses, including the /Pink, will serve Harbor Loop & Rogers St.

Meet the 2301 bus! This bus is a 2023 Low Floor GILLIG Hybrid bus with BAE Systems hybrid bus transmission. These buses are 35' long, 8.5' wide, and can seat 31 customers. Fun fact: these were the first to sport the new CATA livery!
