Blue crabs are synonymous with Maryland. This 500-pound crab sculpture, dating back to the 1980s, is made of 5,000 pieces of stained glass.

⚠️ ADVISORY for local passengers -- the Maryland State Highway Administration will temporarily close a nearby section of MD 295 on the next two weekends.

Drivers seeking to access BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport are advised to use alternate north-south routes such as I-95, US 1, or I-97 to reach I-195. ⚠️

We will close a section of MD 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) to demolish the existing MD 175 (Annapolis Road) bridge at the interchange reconstruction project during two full weekends in April beginning April 10.

Crews will redirect drivers using signed detours to include MD 100, Interstate 95 and MD 32. The mainline MD 175 lanes on the new bridge will remain open to traffic. Drivers should plan for additional time during each continuous weekend road closure.

After a brief break, Contour is returning to BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. Daily service to Macon, Georgia resumes on June 9.

Maryland-based ReBokeh is designed by and intended for the low-vision community. Travelers with low vision can use ReBokeh to read gate and wayfinding signs, view flight information boards and locate restaurants, stores and other terminal locations.

Today on World Autism Awareness Day, we acknowledge the importance of support and understanding.

We proudly participate in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program which helps support individuals with autism and other hidden conditions to navigate our airport and the world with confidence.

The Sunflower lanyard enables travelers to discreetly notify staff of a potential need for assistance.

It was an honor to welcome our first Honor Flight of the year.

Approximately 30 veterans arrived this afternoon, via Rocky Mountain Honor Flight and Southwest Airlines.
