Full Job Description:
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭:
Safely Home Transportation is a Michigan-based transportation company that cares deeply about our clients, community, and employees. At Safely Home we transport clients in a comfortable, safe, timely manner to & from work locations.
𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time
- Be dependable, polite, professional to co-workers and clients
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. bad weather)
- Clean the inside & outside of the vehicle at the end of your shift
- Map out driving routes ahead of time adjusting to weather and road conditions
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
- Must have a valid drivers/chauffeurs license
- A clean driving record
- Previous driving experience is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- High School Diploma or GED
- Availability to take weekends and/or occasional night shifts
𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- W2 form
- CDL is not required
- We supply drivers with the vans & gas cards
- Upon employment you must take a MDOT physical
- This job is mainly set routes. One pick up location & one drop off location. We do not drive clients to individual homes etc.
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts available - Weekends and/or occasional weekdays
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00+
