Some days, the road gives you a story to send home.

Custom Professional Driver Ron Holte sent this greeting from Medicine Hat, Alberta: “Coyote says hi.”

We asked if he’d named his new acquaintance. “Naw,” he said. During his 34-hour reset, he’d also spent an evening feeding and watching prairie dogs before the sun went down. Who knew they like sweet potatoe?!?!?

There’s a little romance in the life of a North American long haul tank hauler. Wide-open country. Towns you might otherwise never know. A quiet evening on the prairie, with time to notice who else calls it home.

The work takes skill, patience, and pride. The miles mean time away from People you love. And somewhere along the way, a moment like this becomes part of what you carry home.

Some drivers want the RESPECT trucking had 30 years ago… while walking into customers looking like they're headed to BED.

Nobody expects a three-piece suit.

You're driving a TRUCK.

But there's still something to be said for looking like you showed up to WORK.

Professional jeans.

Professional shirt.

Presentable appearance.

Instead, sometimes you see sweatpants, sandals and somebody looking like getting dressed wasn't part of the pre-trip.

Comfortable is one thing.

Looking like you don't care is another.

Maybe I'm old-school...

But if we want trucking treated like a PROFESSION...

Shouldn't we still represent it like one?
