Safe travels to all going to or from CA during the expected major snow. Hoping all went around.

Saturday January 27th we gathered together to remember Gene. Sharing stories, laughs and yes a few tears. All the pictures displayed showed how much he loved the people in his life. He was Proud of the company he and Marge built. Everyone who worked there became part of the D & G family. Thursday's and Friday's were always crazy at the yard, unloading and loading. Back in the early years there was food in the kitchen most Friday's and birthday's were celebrated with cake. We all made pick ups hussled to the yard got our trailer stripped out and the magic of1 putting all the right freight in everyone's trailer for the outbound loads began. We were all successful because that's how Gene wanted it to be. His impish little grin and his sense of humor endeared him to many. Listening to some of the stories we all got to laugh. Marrrrrge! I'm sure Gene was with us in spirit and he was smiling and had an occasional chuckle as we shared a few of the memories he left us with. He is missed and as we keep sharing our memories his spirit will continue to live on.
