We would like to thank the first responders and law enforcement agencies that have worked diligently in these adverse conditions. We would also like to thank Governor Haslam for the quick response to the needs of our community. We are now experiencing rain and hope it will impact the fires. Please continue to pray for our community and those who are fighting to protect it. For anyone wondering on the safety of loved ones, please use Facebook Safety Check. There are red cross shelters set up in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for those displaced by the fires. We will give an update as soon as conditions warrant.
