As someone who has lived in Eastern NC for the past 12 years. I can honestly say, before we bought property in Gasburg, all we knew of the lake was the name!

Once we visited, we got to take in the beauty and small town feel! And that’s just in our area! This is a huge Lake! There are so many communities all around the lake, areas we have still yet to see!!

And with saying that, I feel like this is one of North Carolina and Virginia’s hidden gems!!

If you have never been, it’s well worth it! Make sure you check it out, you may find your new vacation destination!

I (Harrison) would argue that the lakes are some of the best parts of living in North Carolina, with Lake Gaston being my favorite.
