Going back to 2010, the highest/lowest average high was 49.1(2012) / 31.1 (2010), the highest/lowest average low was 24.8 (2021) /12.9 (2025). The highest/lowest actual temperature for January was 74 (2013)/ -10 (2014).
As far as rainfall since 2010, this month is dry and has only 0.99 inches of moisture. The 16 year high rainfall amount for January was 3.09 inches (2021) and lowest was 0.08 inches (2012).
No records this month for precipitation or temperatures. We are still fairly dry continuing the December trend.

The Average High Temp for December 2025: 47.3 degrees. Average Low Temp: 26.6. The overall Hi/Lo for the month was 74/5. Total airport rainfall: 0.16 inches. 2" snow.
Going back to 2010, the highest/lowest average high was 55.2(2021) / 41.0 (2016), the highest/lowest average low was 31.7 (2023) /18.3 (2013). The highest/lowest actual temperature for December was 75 (2021)/ -10 (2016).
As far as rainfall since 2010, this month is dry and has only 0.16 inches of moisture. The 14 year high rainfall amount for December was 3.64 inches (2015) and lowest was this year with 0.16 inches (2025).
We set a record for the last 15 years with 0.16 inches being the lowest moisture for December. It has been a dry one.

24 hour rain total at the Garnett Airport -- 0.46 inch. This time of year the ground won't dry for a LONG time.

Month of June 2025 Weather Tidbits
The Average High Temp for June 2025: 84.3 degrees. Average Low Temp: 66.0. The overall Hi/Lo for the month was 94/52. Total airport rainfall: 7.79 inches. No snow.
Going back to 2010, the highest/lowest average high was 89.2(2020) / 81.7 (2014), the highest/lowest average low was 68.8 (2010) /62.8 (2019). The highest/lowest actual temperature for June was 103 (2012)/ 45 (2013).
As far as rainfall since 2010, this year has 7.79 inches of moisture and has allowed us to catch up some on yearly rainfall. The 14 year high rainfall amount was 7.92 inches (2024) and lowest was 1.37 inches (2023). If we would have gotten some of the higher amounts of rain like north of Garnett, it would have been definitely been a record precipitation year.
No records of any kind for the month of June in 2025. We were able to gain back some precipitation in the wetter and cooler than average June.

The airport received 0.59 inches of rain yesterday till this morning at 8am.

The Garnett airport received 2.42 inches of rain by 8 am yesterday and 2.29 in this morning at 8. So 4.71 inches in around 24 hours time. I know as you go north from the airport, the amount of rain went up quite a bit. The airport was right at the south edge of the weather pattern.
