✈️ Travel Update: TSA PreCheck Still Operating — For Now

During the current partial government shutdown, there was concern that expedited screening programs like TSA PreCheck and Global Entry might be suspended.

The good news? TSA PreCheck is continuing to operate normally at this time. There are currently no changes for travelers using the PreCheck lanes.

Global Entry services could still see disruptions depending on how long the shutdown continues, so this is something to watch closely.

• PreCheck lanes are still open
• Arrive early — airport staffing can always shift
• Monitor official updates if you have upcoming travel

✈️ Travel Update: TSA PreCheck & Global Entry Temporarily Suspended

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has temporarily suspended both TSA PreCheck and Global Entry due to the ongoing government shutdown.

What this means for travelers:
• Expedited security lanes are currently unavailable
• Global Entry kiosks for faster re-entry into the U.S. are paused
• All passengers will go through standard screening and customs procedures
• Expect longer wait times at airports

If you have travel coming up, I strongly recommend arriving earlier than usual and building in extra connection time where possible.
