🏈 Line 7X NFL Game Day Sunday Service Change

GTrans is updating Line 7X to better align service with customer demand. Starting September 13, beginning with the 2026-2027 NFL season:

-Line 7X will transition from year-round Sunday service to Sunday NFL game-day service.
-Service will begin approximately 3 hours before the game and continue approximately 1.5 hours after the game.
-Regular GTrans fares will apply.

The service change was approved by the Gardena City Council on August 25, 2026, following a public outreach and comment period. While community feedback included interest in service for additional NFL game days, the approved service plan focuses on Sunday NFL game days due to existing service schedules, school-related service, and staffing considerations.

Pay your fare using a contactless physical or digital credit/debit card on any TAP validator aboard GTrans buses. Simply tap your card or mobile wallet, wait for the green light, and you're ready to ride!

Please note:
-TAP cards and cash remain accepted on all GTrans buses.
-Reduced-fare riders must continue using TAP cards until contactless reduced-fare payment launches (anticipated early 2027).
-Customers should use the same card and same payment method throughout their trip to receive eligible TAP transfer benefits such as discounted transfers between local agencies that use TAP.
- GTrans does not participate in fare capping.
