Today is National Transit Driver Appreciation Day, so we wanted to give the biggest shoutout to the individuals who keep Finney County on move! Finney County Transit drivers help our community members get where they need to go, whether that's work, school, medical appointments, the grocery store, or social events. Behind the wheel, they're often the first friendly face someone sees each day.

Drivers navigate streets, assist riders with mobility devices, help passengers find their stops, drive safely through all kinds of weather, but most importantly, they create a welcoming, supportive ride environment for everyone. Many of our drivers are also retired veterans who have selflessly served our country at home and abroad.

THANK YOU to our incredible transit drivers for the care and connection you bring to our community every single day!

Hoy es el Día Nacional de Agradecimiento a los Conductores de Transporte Público, así que queremos expresar nuestro más sincero reconocimiento a quienes mantienen el transporte público del Condado de Finney en movimiento. Nuestros conductores ayudan a los miembros de nuestra comunidad a llegar a donde necesitan ir, ya sea al trabajo, la escuela, citas médicas, el supermercado o eventos sociales. Al volante, suelen ser la primera cara amable que alguien ve cada día.

Los conductores recorren las calles, ayudan a los pasajeros con dispositivos de movilidad, les indican sus paradas, conducen con seguridad en cualquier condición climática, pero lo más importante es que crean un ambiente de viaje acogedor y seguro para todos. Muchos de nuestros conductores también son veteranos retirados que han servido desinteresadamente a nuestro país, tanto en casa como en el extranjero.

Due to hazardous road conditions, the Finney County Transit and The Senior Center will be closed on Monday, January 26th, 2026. No busses will be running. There will not be any meals on wheels delivered and no friendship meals.

Finney County Transit will be closing early at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 26th and will be closed all day the 27th and 28th. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, December 1st, 2025. 🦃
