Originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, William is a devoted sports fan who enjoys both football and baseball. This was an awesome Super Fun Friday! We celebrated the birthdays of our wonderful leader, Todd Womble, as well as Matt, Supreme, Michaela, and Austin. Our team always loves a good game, and we played tortilla toss this time, with five teams! The winning team won chocolate turtles. 🐢

Summer conditions can impact both drivers and equipment, especially during long hours, heavy traffic, and peak freight season. That’s why preparation and awareness matter.

A few important reminders for managing the heat this season:

☀️ Stay hydrated throughout the day, not just when you feel thirsty
🚛 Monitor tire pressure, as heat can increase blowout risk
🔧 Keep an eye on coolant systems and engine temperatures
😴 Watch for signs of fatigue, dizziness, or slowed reaction time
🧊 Take breaks when needed, especially during extreme heat advisories
🛣 Hot pavement and increased traffic can also affect stopping distance and vehicle performance
