Beginning May 14, registration update capabilities in URS, the FMCSA Portal, and L&I will be removed as legacy systems are retired.

If you haven’t already, review and update your FMCSA Portal information today.

The FMCSA’s Legacy Registration System officially begins shutting down in 4 days.

Beginning May 14, carriers will lose access to parts of the current registration systems as FMCSA transitions to MOTUS.

If your portal information isn’t updated beforehand, you could run into delays accessing your account, managing registrations, or completing filings.

Now is the time to:
✔ Verify your FMCSA Portal login
✔ Confirm account access
✔ Make sure your information is current

🚫 MYTH: “I mostly stayed in one state, so IFTA doesn’t apply to me.”
✅ FACT: If you crossed state lines even once in a qualified vehicle, you’re responsible for IFTA reporting.

This is one of the most common misconceptions we see during IFTA season.

Even if most of your miles were in one state, one interstate trip can still trigger IFTA requirements.

⏰ Reminder: IFTA filings are due April 30th.

Missing the deadline can mean penalties, interest, and unnecessary headaches.

✅ FACT: No BoC-3 = No authority to operate.

This isn’t just another form to check off your list, this is what allows you to legally run your business.

No BoC-3 on file? You could be shut down before you even get rolling.

✅ FACT: Even ONE driver means you’re required to comply.

This is one of the biggest compliance mistakes small carriers make, and it’s usually not intentional.

DOT doesn’t scale the rules based on your fleet size. One driver is all it takes.
