We're excited to welcome aircraft from all over the Southeast to The Pixel Man Airshow on October 24, 2026, at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport (KGVL) in Gainesville, Georgia!

If you're even thinking about attending, please take a minute to pre-register today. Your registration is extremely important because it helps us:

✅ Reserve adequate aircraft parking
✅ Plan ramp operations and staffing
✅ Prepare enough Pilot Goody Bags
✅ Order enough FREE pancake breakfasts for every pilot
✅ Ensure we have the resources ready to make your visit enjoyable

We don't want to run out of parking, goody bags, or breakfast because more pilots showed up than expected. Every pre-registration helps us build a better event for everyone.

We're excited to welcome William Jackson and his beautiful 1949 Hudson Super Six Business Coupe, affectionately known as "Ol Blue," to this year's Pixel Man Airshow & Car Show!

While it started life as a Super Six, "Ol Blue" has been upgraded to Hudson Hornet standards with the legendary 308 NASCAR 7X engine featuring Twin-H Power—the same powerhouse that helped Hudson dominate NASCAR in the early 1950s.

William loves telling kids that "Ol Blue" is Doc Hudson's uncle!" 🏁 If you're a fan of the Cars movies, you won't want to miss seeing this classic in person.

✈️ Meet Stephen Serrand and his 1946 North American Navion at The Pixel Man Airshow! 🇺🇸

A true piece of aviation history is coming to Gainesville!

Stephen Serrand will be bringing his 1946 North American Navion (N91176) to The Pixel Man Airshow on October 24, 2026, at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport (KGVL).

Built just after World War II by North American Aviation, the Navion was designed for the fighter pilots returning home from Europe. The goal was to create a civilian aircraft inspired by the legendary P-51 Mustang—complete with its sleek lines, sliding canopy, and retractable landing gear—but built for everyday flying.

While it may not match the blistering speed of its military counterpart, the Navion has earned a reputation for its timeless design, forgiving flight characteristics, and classic post-war styling. It's one of those aircraft that aviation enthusiasts never get tired of seeing up close!
