Born and raised in the DR, Ricky moved to South Florida at 9 years old and, 7 years ago, decided to call GNV home.

In his free time, you can find him “frolicking & meandering outside” (his words, not ours 😂). He’s big into fitness 💪 , a huge foodie, and always making sure everyone in the office is well-fed.

Meet our Director of Marketing, Maggie 👋

Maggie was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida.

She helps businesses build brands people remember.

Outside of marketing, she has spent a decade coordinating yoga and personal development experiences around the world.

Singing and storytelling since she could talk, her projects are fueled by a love for creativity, human connection, and curating impactful experiences.

Gainesville is in full-on transition right now.

One week:
• Graduation dinners.
• Packed parking garages.
• Dorms overflowing.

The next?
Apartments feel abandoned almost overnight.

Every May, the city flips fast.

Right now, we’re seeing two completely different move experiences.

Some families planned months ahead.
• Storage reserved.
• Move-back dates locked in.

Others are scrambling:
• “We need storage asap.”
• “Can we move this week?”

Both are normal, but we recommend being the former.
That being said, we’re here no matter what.

All the while, grad student moves are quietly reshaping the city:
• Masters programs ending.
• Researchers relocating.
• Young professionals stepping into new cities and careers.

After the moves comes the summer hush. Traffic drops and the city exhales.

But behind the scenes, summer family moves are already building. More estimates are going out.

Many moves are simply waiting on closing dates to align for June and July.
