Penksa, who today was honored by the Florida Airports Council (FAC) in Fort Lauderdale with an Honorary Lifetime Membership in the organization. FAC cited Allan’s dedication to developing aviation in North Central Florida, his decades-long leadership and dedication to the industry.

We LOVED hosting Gainesville Dogs Inc Guide Dogs in Training, Gainesville Puppy Raisers and the folks from guidedogs.org, whose mission is “raising puppies for those who cannot see and those who have seen too much.” These gorgeous pups: Oakley, Ollie, Dasher, Banjo, Storm, Sampson, Olive, Kargo, Bug, Sarge, Luna, Wolfe and George (and their handlers) honed their skills at GNV at the ticket counter, the TSA checkpoint, the boarding area and the baggage claim❤️❤️❤️this past Saturday. We love them all and wish them well!🐾🐾🦮✈️❤️❤️❤️🥰

GNV would like to thank all who FLEW EASY in March 2026! Because of you, we set an all-time traffic record for the month of March, with 25,581 deplaned (arriving) passengers and 25,738 enplaned (outbound) passengers, for a total of 51,319 flying in and out of GNV! When other folks slogged through horrible traffic to a big city airport’s packed parking and long TSA lines, a lot of you made the wise decision to fly local! THANK YOU!🧡💙✈️😍

Hey there Florida Gators Fans! A while back we let you know that American Airlines is doing a special nonstop to Austin for the Florida-Texas game. Well, now, so is Delta! For the Florida at Texas Game on Oct. 17, 2026, Delta will operate a nonstop departing Friday, Oct. 16 from GNV (DL8815) at 2:00 pm arriving Austin at 3:29 pm. And on the flip side, returning back Sunday, Oct. 18 from AUS (DL8815, again) departing Austin at 12:00 pm, arriving GNV at 3:21 pm.
