Talk about one piece of equipment from one of our industry partners .plasticweldingtechnology A year and a half of collaboration and design resulted in the creation of this fusion out machine which gives us the ability to reduce welds by installing multiple branch outlets in place of reducing tees in large diameter headers up to 40 feet in length. This machine delivers consistent results with pinpoint accuracy time after time. It is the only one of its kind on the 🌎.

THE FUSION PROCESS:
The pipe fusion process is a widely accepted process that joins two pieces of thermoplastic pipe together with heat and pressure.
THE PRINCIPLE OF HEAT FUSION:
Heating two surfaces to a designated temperature, and then fuse them together by application of force. This process develops pressure, causing flow of the melted materials, which causes mixing and fusion. When the thermoplastic pipe is heated, the molecular structure is transformed from a crystalline state into an amorphous condition. When fusion pressure is applied, the molecules from each pipe end mix.
THE RESULT OF HEAT FUSION:
As the joint cools, the molecules return to their original form, the original interfaces are gone, and the two pipes have become one monolithic pipe.

Here craftsmen are learning about butt fusion on the During the training course, each participant of the training completes multiple socket fusion welds, several outlet fusion welds and as many butt welds as they wish until they are comfortable with the process, so that they ultimately have a successful installation experience.

In this picture we have 125mm 17.6 Blue Pipe in the machine, 160mm 17.6 Blue Pipe in our 4002 machine, 315mm 17.6 Blue Pipe segmented elbows in our Alpha 400 machine, 400mm 17.6 Blue Pipe segmented elbows in our Alpha 630 machine and 200mm 17.6 Blue Pipe doubles in our Widos 4911 machine. Feels great to be pumping out the fusion welds! πŸ’―
