Ladies and gentlemen, the Dubois County Railroad is proud to announce its fist ever photo freight! Taking place on December 13th, this event will feature multiple photo stops between French Lick and Dubois, including multiple angles of Indiana's second-longest tunnel. What's pulling this train, you ask? Great question! The event will feature two Schenectady-built beauties- our restored Algers, Winslow and Western RS1, as well as our freshly repainted (in AWW paint!) DCRR S2, 78.

Four years ago today, we picked up this beautiful dome car, Paxrail’s Stampede Pass, and transported it from Huntingburg to French Lick. The French Lick Scenic Railway used the car for their 2016 The POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride event, and then for excursions during the 2017 Railroad Passenger Car Alliance convention, also hosted in French Lick.
