Some recent work on the farm. They turned my driveway into a road. Raised my hayfields about 20' and dug a drainage pond in front of my other barn. My landman is getting tired of me complaining about that. So I went and talked to the construction foreman today. He assured me he'd put a culvert in and fill it in. That's where I park my trailers and hay equipment. Can't wait for it to be done and the only traffic is oil tankers. 😃

Had a special night with the boys last night when we put them in. All 4 of them just wanted company, after I got the ice balls off their feet and a quick brushing they all wanted me to spend time with them. Badger the young black horse kept following me in his stall then blocking the door, a trick Koda & Dusty use. So I spent a good extra hour in the barn just hanging out. Dusty my buckskin and Koda our Tennessee walker got a little extra. Angus our visiting mustang was even getting into it. Anyone who loves horses knows the feeling of that special time. I'm blessed with some great animals here.

Kinda letting the farm page slip. Not meaning too, just lots going on. Anyway here's a couple posts I put in another group about a couple of our horses.

My boys are mad at me. I told em yesterday I would get em out, groom em and maybe go riding. Well it got up to 70 today so I went fishing. I got home and got the boat covered and they were over by the fence so I walked over to see them. Now these 2 always come see me at the fence or gate. Tonight Dusty just looked at me but wouldn't take 3 steps toward the fence. Koda wouldn't even look at me. I feel guilty now, gonna have to make it up to them tomorrow. Lol

I found the buckskin horse we sold 8 years ago. He remembered me soon as I called him by his nickname. Going to try to buy him back. We raised him from birth. Say hi to Dusty

I know, haven't been active on here for quite awhile, sorry. Had to dig a ditch today, road crew cleaned the culvert that dumps into our pasture and they gave me a piece of culvert to put under the fence too keep the dogs in so I had to channel it.
