Please join us here at Payne Trucking in sending HIGH SALUTES to CHRIS HOUSTON for being our OTR Driver of the Month for December 2020!!! Chris has been an intricate part of our Payne team since March 2015. He has over 17 years of driving experience. Chris takes great PRIDE in representing Payne Trucking where ever his travels take him. He has been an OTR Driver Trainer for over 3 years and enjoys sharing his skills with new drivers.
When Chris isn't driving, he enjoys spending quality time with his daughter and twin sons. Chris is also a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan!!

John brings to Payne Trucking over 20 years of trucking experience. John spent most of his trucking career in Kansas City, as he was born and raised in Missouri. An intriguing fact that John shared with us is that he was a bull rider for about 5 years!! When John isn't trucking he enjoys working out as he started body building about 5 years ago. John moved to Virginia about 2 years ago and says that he loves it here. He enjoys his career at Payne Trucking and plans to be here for the long haul.

Payne would like to Congratulate MATTHEW BIXLER, our Fredericksburg OTR November Driver of the Month!!! Matthew joined our Payne team in October 2020 and has proven himself to be a great asset to Payne Trucking. Matthew is a 3rd Generation driver and has been trucking for 15 years.
When he is not trucking, Matthew enjoys riding one of his two Harley Davidson’s, hunting and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Matthew is a HUGE Penn State fan!!! If you see Truck 423 on the road, please be sure to give Matthew a BIG SHOUT OUT and CONGRATULATE him on a job well done.

Please join all of us at Payne Trucking as we congratulate Calvin Kelley for earning top honors as our second, LOCAL DRIVER OF THE MONTH for October 2020!! Calvin joined our Payne team in June 2020. Prior to joining us; Calvin did roofing work and said he wished he had made the change to being a professional driver much sooner. When Calvin is not behind the wheel; he likes to play and write Country and Bluegrass songs. He enjoys playing the guitar as well in his spare time. Payne would like to congratulate Mr. GARY POOLE, our LOCAL DRIVER of the MONTH for SEPTEMBER 2020 from our Fredericksburg, VA terminal!
Ever since 2009, when Gary joined the Payne Trucking team, he has been a driver in which other drivers can look up to with his upbeat attitude and leadership.
When not behind the wheel, you might find Gary fishing, working in the yard, or just hanging out with his family and friends.

Please join us at Payne Trucking as we send a big congratulations out to KRISTOFER GILLY as our OTR VAN DRIVER OF THE MONTH for JULY 2020.
Kris started his trucking career 6 years ago when he was 19 years old. He has lots of talent in pulling reefers, specialized flat beds, tow trucks and since April 2020 has been with Payne Trucking pulling a 53' Dry Van.
When Kris isn't trucking he enjoys spending quality time with his fiancée and his 4 year old son. He also unwinds by building cars, as well as, racing cars. He is currently working on getting his Divers Certification.

If you see Truck 430 on the road, send a BIG WAVE OF CONGRATULATIONS to Patrick DeMersman, our OTR DRIVER OF THE MONTH FOR JULY 2020.
Prior to coming to Payne Trucking, Patrick worked for 18 years as a mechanic/electrician underground in the coal mines of West Virginia. He began driving dump trailers in 2013 hauling coal off strip mines in West Virginia. Patrick then moved on to working as a mechanic in Florida. After being in Florida for 5 years, Patrick made the decision to get back into driving a tractor/trailer full time. He relocated his family to Virginia and began his career with Payne Trucking in April 2020.
When Patrick is not trucking he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and his beautiful children. Patrick also enjoys a good ride on his Harley Davidson to unwind.

Let us introduce you to JESSE JOHNSON our OTR DRIVER OF THE MONTH FOR JUNE 2020. Jesse has been in the trucking industry since 1987 when he first started driving for Payne. He has proven himself to be a very versatile driver, as he has pulled van trailers and dump trailers for us. When Jesse is not putting down the highway miles; he enjoys spending time with his family. He especially enjoys spending time with his 4 grandkids. Jesse likes to unwind when he isn't trucking by listening to music.
