We are back up and running. Not 100 percent barely 60 percent but trying since Macon county DSS has put me through 10,000 things and basically doesn't want to help. Even applied for emergency 3 day food and nutrition and took a month for someone to call me back then needs more information. I am on a month to month with Dr to see if my condition improves or get worse but they want a dr note saying I'm disabled. I'm not officially disabled yet and God willing I hope to not be. So we will try and do it ourselves like we always have. if anyone needs a shuttle reach out and we have a new number trying to improve and update business. Text 828-347-8964 to schedule a shuttle. In the coming months we have plans for big things coming God willing with health.
We are still asking for donations for everyday expenses and help to build back up. If the county and gov won't help maybe the community will come together and help. Most of you know me by Bryan "The Dude" some locally know me as the GM of papa johns in Franklin NC. I ended up having a stroke on 6/11/26. It has affected my vision and ability to walk it will be a long recovery road and a lot of PT but I plan on full recovery God willing. I am asking for everyone thoughts and prayers and asking for any donations to help with day to day expenses to ease the stress during recovery. I am not able to drive. Work let alone walk to restroom without help. Thank you to everyone who can help and the wonderful hiker community I have worked with over the last 5 years. Good morning everyone. With a heavy heart we are not going to be shuttling for next couple months. I unfortunately suffered a stroke wed 6/11 which has affected my vision and my ability to walk. I have a long recovery ahead and still chance of triggering a massive stroke if I don't keep stress down. My wife and I created a GoFundMe If it can be shared and in everyone's prayers.
