Mohawk Valley Firebirds Radio Control Modelers The Mohawk Valley Firebirds are an AMA chartered club located at Frankfort Highland Airport. Check back often for upcoming events!

The Firebirds originated in the late 1960's and is an AMA chartered club located at Frankfort Highland Airport in the town of Frankfort just a few miles south east of Utica, NY. Our field is privately owned and full-scale traffic is minimal (and sometimes awesome!). We fly off of a 2800 X 30 foot paved runway with an optional 600 X 50 foot grass runway. In front of us is nothing but open field! We

host several events through out the year. All AMA pilots are welcome to fly at all of them. We welcome their family and friends as well. And of course, the general public is always welcome to join the fun.

Hello All!
I want to thank everyone that came out to our 2024 Highland Jets event, spectators and pilots alike, we wouldn’t be able to put on this amazing event without all of you. We had such a good time! Hoping we can secure the spot for next year.
