One of the best parts of working around Boston during big events is meeting people from all over the world.

The Scotland fans have brought an incredible vibe to the city — friendly, fun, and full of energy. Boston feels alive this week, and it’s been great to be a small part of it.

A rainy morning at Gillette — sorry, “Boston” — Stadium, with World Cup preparations already taking shape.

Foxborough is going to be busy in 2026, and I’ll be keeping a close eye on transportation logistics as match days get closer.

As for the tournament itself, I’m still dreaming of a USA vs. Portugal final — country of my birth vs. country of my heritage. A long shot for sure, but I’d love to see it.

The 2026 World Cup gets underway tomorrow with Mexico vs. South Africa playing at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The first match in Foxborough is Scotland vs. Haiti on Saturday night at 9 P.M.

Who are you cheering for? My dream finals matchup would be the country of my birth (USA) vs. the country of my heritage (Portugal). It's a long shot for sure, but it would be very entertaining!

What an incredible opening weekend. 💙

Thank you to every single person who came out to support Studio Bake Confections. Whether you stopped in to grab a dessert, shared a post, told a friend about us, or simply cheered us on from afar — thank you. This dream has been years in the making, and seeing so many familiar faces (and many new ones!) walk through our doors meant more than I can put into words.

This weekend taught us a lot, and we’re excited to continue learning, growing, and baking for this amazing community. We’re just getting started. 🧁

As we settle into our regular schedule, our hours moving forward will be:

Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Closed Mondays
