Forgiveness isn't saying it was okay. It's deciding it won't control me anymore.

When I hold on to a grudge, I'm the one carrying it. I'm the one replaying it and losing sleep over it, while they've already moved on.

Colossians 3:13 doesn't say to forgive when they apologize or when they deserve it. It says to forgive as the Lord forgave you. He forgave me when I didn't deserve it, so who am I to hold back that same grace?

Open hands, not clenched fists. 🤍☀️

Nobody asked them to. That’s just who they are.
