How about Italy without a passport? ✈️

Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort feels like a slice of Italy, and it's easy to see why it's part of their Signature Collection!
The amenities are top-notch, but here's what I love - it's not all fine dining and formality.

Take Sal's Market Deli! Just steps from the harbor, it offers a cozy, neighborhood vibe that even muggles can appreciate! 😉

With handmade pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and fresh fruit, there's something for even the pickiest eater.

(Personally? I'd grab my pizza and eat it on the piazza - that harbor view just hits different!)

But here's where it gets REALLY good:

With a stay here you'll get:
Free Universal Express Unlimited (that's HUGE!)
Early park admission
Water taxi service to the parks
A stroll-worthy setting that genuinely feels like Italy

As your Investment Strategist, this is exactly what I mean when I talk about vacation ROI!

Yes, it's a splurge, but when you factor in the Express Pass value alone (which can cost $100+ per person per day), suddenly this resort starts paying for itself!

I'm currently booking Universal getaways into 2026, and Portofino Bay is one of my absolute favorites for families who want that elevated experience without the overwhelm!

Ready to experience Walt's dream up close and personal? I'm currently taking clients for Disneyland trips! There's nothing quite like seeing the original magic through your family's eyes. Comment WALT if you want to chat about planning your California Disney adventure! 🏰

Fun fact Friday! Back in 1928, Walt Disney was riding high with his creation, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. But during a contract dispute, Walt lost the rights to Oswald to his distributor. It could've ended his career, but instead, it sparked his greatest triumph. On the train ride home, Walt dreamed up a new character: the beloved Mickey Mouse. The rest, as they say, is Disney history! 🚂✨

From my research, I know that Walt Disney was absolutely crushed to lose Oswald - it was a devastating betrayal that could have broken him. But I'm so thankful it happened! Without that heartbreak, we might never have gotten Mickey Mouse, and the Disney magic that brings families together today might not exist.

There's something incredibly special about experiencing Walt's original dream at Disneyland - the park he actually walked through, the attractions he personally oversaw, the magic he created with his own hands. When you stroll down Main Street USA and see Sleeping Beauty Castle, you're literally walking in Walt's footsteps!

Some families skip Animal Kingdom...and they're missing out! This park is a rare blend of thrill rides, cultural experiences, and real wildlife encounters. From caring for endangered species to the breathtaking immersion of Pandora, it delivers Disney magic in a totally different way.

My personal Animal Kingdom tradition? Always ending the day on the Kilimanjaro Safari as the sun sets. There's something about seeing those animals in that golden light that just hits different - it's one of those magical Disney moments you can't plan, but when it happens, it's pure magic!

If you skipped this park because you thought it was just a zoo, you absolutely need to go back. The safari is wonderful, but you haven't lived your best Disney life until you've soared on Flight of Passage or gotten completely soaked (and loved every second) on Kali River Rapids!

Ready to experience all of Animal Kingdom's magic without the overwhelm? I'm taking new clients for 2025 and 2026 Disney vacations and would love to help you plan the perfect balance of thrills, wildlife, and family connection time!

What do you say? Skip it, half-day park, or full day all the way?

Comment ANIMAL KINGDOM if you want to chat about making the most of this incredible park! ✨

Would you believe our first Disney vacation was a complete disaster? This is us many years (and MUCH better planning) later! 😊

I'm about to share something vulnerable with my clients this week - the story of my most embarrassing Disney moment and how it completely changed how I approach vacation planning.

Let's just say... the meltdown wasn't my toddler's. 😅

Sometimes our biggest disasters become our greatest strengths, and this one taught me everything about what busy families REALLY need from their vacations (hint: it's not cramming in more activities).

If you're not on my email list but want to hear the whole story, comment "STORY" below and I'll send it your way!

And if you know a family who gets overwhelmed by vacation planning, feel free to tag them - we've all been there! 💫

Fort Mill and Indian Land friends, if you’ve ever said, “We should do something for fall break…” and then didn’t because life was just too busy— keep reading.

I know how fast school breaks sneak up—and how easy it is to end up staying home or paying double for a holiday trip you don’t even enjoy that much.

So I found something that’s fun, easy, and doesn’t break the bank.
This October, you can sail with your family on Royal Caribbean’s brand new Utopia of the Seas—and kids sail free.

Yep—just taxes and gratuities for the kids. That’s it.

Here are two sailings that line up with local fall breaks:

📍 Fort Mill Fall Break (Oct 6–10, 2025)
4-night cruise with a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay
🛏 Balcony stateroom for a family of 4: $2,946.32 (pricing subject to change)

📍 Indian Land Fall Break (Oct 10–13, 2025)
3-night weekend sailing—perfect if you want a shorter getaway
🛏 Balcony stateroom for a family of 4: $3,174.80 (pricing subject to change)

And because I know how good it feels when someone else handles the details, if you book by July 31, I’ll throw in a few extras:

🍹 Soda package for 2
🍽️ Specialty dining for 2
💳 $50 onboard credit

I’ll also take care of everything—quotes, booking, check-in, travel docs, reminders—you don’t have to think about it at all.

If you’re a mom who wants to go somewhere during the break but never has time to figure it out until it’s too late… I’ve got you.

Drop a comment or message me and I’ll send you the full details!
Let’s make this fall break easy, fun, and unforgettable.

70 years ago today—on July 17, 1955—Disneyland opened its gates for the very first time.

This photo gets me every time and gives me chills. That’s Walt himself, walking through Sleeping Beauty Castle before the park opened to the public. Can you imagine what must’ve been going through his mind? All the risk, all the dreaming—and the hope that families would come and make memories together in a place like no other.

Opening day was a bit of a disaster (hello, melting asphalt overflowing bathrooms, and counterfeit tickets), but the heart of Disneyland still shone through. And here we are, seven decades later, still soaking in that same magic.

I love how Disneyland has grown and changed over the years, but that feeling when you turn the corner onto Main Street and see the castle? I still get goosebumps and then teary-eyed. That never gets old. It’s timeless. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifteenth, it still feels special.

Here’s to 70 years of laughter, parades, fireworks, and churros—and to Walt’s dream that became everyone’s happy place.

If a Disneyland trip is on your bucket list (or it’s just been too long), I’d love to help you plan it.

What’s your favorite Disneyland memory—or the thing you’d most want to experience there? Tell me below. ⬇️

Sometimes the parks can be… just… so people-y. 🫣

And the older I get, the more I find myself wanting those quieter, out-of-the-way spots—still magical, just not packed wall-to-wall with people.

📌 PRO TIP: If you’re hungry, need a break, and don’t have a dining reservation, there are some fantastic quick-service spots at Disney resorts that are super easy to get to from the parks. These are my go-to spots when I want to breathe, recharge, and still stay in the magic:

🌭 BoardWalk Inn (walk from EPCOT or Hollywood Studios):
Grab a Blue Ribbon Corn Dog, a sandwich from the deli, pizza by the slice, or ice cream while you enjoy the view of Crescent Lake and maybe a breeze off the water. It’s a whole vibe.

🌮 Caribbean Beach Resort (Skyliner from EPCOT or Hollywood Studios):
Centertown Market has legit Caribbean flavors like jerk chicken and fish tacos—but also crowd-pleasers like lasagna, salads, and pizza. It’s colorful, cozy, and usually not too hectic.

🥖 Riviera Resort (Skyliner from EPCOT or Hollywood Studios):
If you love sandwiches, this place is heaven. Think Croque Monsieur, warm baguettes, paninis, plus hummus platters and grilled veggie skewers. Oh—and the chocolate chip banana bread? Don’t sleep on it.

🧆 Polynesian Village Resort (Monorail, boat, or bus from Magic Kingdom):
Capt. Cook’s is such a hidden gem—Thai coconut meatballs, Korean chicken bowls, and island-style noodles that are way more exciting than your average theme park fare. And yes, Dole Whip is just steps away at Pineapple Lanai.

So if the crowds are getting to you, skip the chaos, hop on some Disney transportation, and go find your chill. You’ll be back in the parks refreshed and full—and maybe even with a Dole Whip in hand.

Social media is already flooded with “viral” snacks to try at Universal Epic Universe, but what if you just want to sit down, slow down, and actually savor your meal? Believe it or not, there are only TWO full-service restaurants in the entire park. 😯

🥣🐉 Enter: The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant.

This spot serves up everything from dim sum and noodles to small plates and familiar comfort favorites like beef & broccoli and orange chicken—for the less adventurous eaters in your crew. If you want the full experience, don’t skip the tea pot cocktails—they’re such a fun touch. 🥢🫖

The vibe? Sleek, modern, and neon-lit in the best way. It feels right at home in Celestial Park, especially after dark when everything starts to glow.

And while I don’t want to spoil the surprise… let’s just say the exterior of the Blue Dragon gets involved in the park’s nighttime show. 👀 It’s subtle at first—but once it happens, it’s one of those “whoa, that’s cool” moments you’ll remember.

If you're planning time at Epic, I’d definitely carve out a meal here—you won’t regret slowing down for this one.
