Some team members make such a lasting impact that they’re always part of the Bradford family—even after retirement.

Jeff Taylor spent more than 19 years at Bradford Marine, contributing his skills in the Mechanical Department before moving into a Project Management role supporting vessels, captains, and crews across the yard. After retiring in January 2024, Jeff has continued to step back in during busy periods, helping the Mechanical team and supporting projects when extra experience makes a difference.

His knowledge, reliability, and willingness to help wherever needed continue to strengthen the team and reflect the spirit of collaboration that keeps our yard moving forward. We’re grateful Jeff is still part of the Bradford story. ⚓

We were glad to welcome the MIASF Yacht Service Technician Apprenticeship Program (YSTAP) students to Bradford Marine last night for the final class of this session. ⚓

Students had the opportunity to learn directly from Modern Recreational Technologies (MRT), distributors of Pettit Paint. Their Technical Rep, Tony, traveled from Illinois for a live demonstration of the latest topside paint products and application techniques. It was a hands-on evening of practical learning—and even our instructors picked up a few new ideas along the way.

A big thank you to MRT and Pettit for sharing their expertise—and for donating paint and supplies for the class. Thanks as well to MIASF for pizza, and to the MRT team for subs and beverages that made the evening even more enjoyable.

We’re proud to support programs that connect students with industry professionals and help strengthen the future of the marine workforce. 🔧
