Weโve just removed the roof on this Princess to get access to whatโs actually going on underneath.
From the outside, it looked like failing clear coat and surface cracking. But as is often the case, once you open it up, you start to see the full picture: cracking, delamination, and areas that need proper structural attention before anything goes back on.
This is where most projects either go rightโฆ or go wrong.
Because itโs not just about repainting.
Itโs about opening it up properly, repairing the structure underneath, fairing and preparing it correctly, then finishing it so it lasts.
We see a lot of jobs where the finish was doneโฆ but the structure underneath wasnโt properly addressed.
A lot of people donโt know where to go when it sits between trades. Thatโs usually where problems start.
If something on your boat doesnโt look right, itโs worth understanding whatโs behind it before jumping to a finish.
