Built at McDonnell Douglas’ Long Beach, CA plant on July 30, 1943, as a C-47A-45DL, serial #9967. It served with the U.S. Army’s 8th Air Force as 42-24105 before being discovered in storage at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1972.

After years with Air Freight Inc. and Skyfreighters, this legendary DC-3 eventually joined the Florida Air Cargo fleet. 🇺🇸
